TASBO Committees provide members with an opportunity to network with other professionals in their area of specialization. TASBO is dedicated to researching, analyzing and publicizing improved methods of school business management in specific specialty areas represented by Association research committees.
Committee Meetings
Committees normally meet two times per year: at the Annual Conference and at TASBO headquarters in the fall. In addition, committee chairs attend the Annual Leadership Academy in April. The committee chair may call a special committee meeting at some other time during the year if necessary.
Application Process
Select a committee to serve on by indicating your choice on the Application for Committee Membership. Your choice should be based on interest, experience, or expertise in the Committee's identified specialty area. An Application for Committee Membership form must be completed and returned to TASBO headquarters.
Click here for the Committee Application, or contact the TASBO headquarters office at (512) 462-1711 or 1-800-338-6531.
Standing Committees
The Professional Certification Committee & Government Relations Committee are two standing committees that serve as advisory group to the TASBO Board of Directors. Standing committee members are appointed by the President with approval of the Board.
